Anti-bullying Workshops

Bullying is not okay, that is why we created our musical 'The Last Laugh', based on the story of the three little pigs, children and adults alike will laugh, cry and be impacted with the message that 'bullying never pays'. With the musical becoming a great success, we have created a workshop for children from school years 5 - 9  based on our musical to help children face the issues of bullying head-on.

Bullying can negatively affect a child's confidence and make them shy and afraid to step out and try something new. Musical theatre builds confidence in children and helps them to believe in themselves and have a go at new things. In our workshop, children will be engaged in two hours of musical theatre games, warm-ups, confidence-building activities, and storytelling. They will also see a short 15-minute performance from our actors and then learn a chorus number from our 'Anti-Bullying' musical.

With the help of our 'Big Yellow Skoolie' project, we can transport our team from North to South to facilitate workshops in Surrey, Sussex and The West Midlands. If you would like to have us come and do a workshop at your school/group or want more information please contact us using the form at the bottom of this page.

What People Think

Hi,

Firstly I would like to thank you for coming to the school.

I would like to give feedback as requested for this workshop.

The play at the start was a great way to start, it was great that the other pupils in different year groups could join as the impact of this went wider.

The play was amazing, simple but very effective.

The combination of dance, singing and great acting was great to showcase to the pupils and inspire them.

The words you lead in the assembly about the power of words and showing the IKEA experiment was absolutely fab, as this brought it to life for a lot of pupils and teachers!

The message was loud and clear to the pupils of all abilities.

This was very well planned and organised throughout the whole afternoon.

The activities with year 5 were great for confident building. The performance at the end was fab as it was simple, got the pupils involved of all abilities which lead to a great performance at the end.
